Reminder: Watch Those Adperk Videos!

September 25th (tomorrow!) is the last day to watch September videos to receive Video Values Coupons at Rite Aid's Adperk site. (This is because the October SCR's begin on September 26.)

When I post Rite Aid deals, I refer to all valid Adperk coupons, which often includes coupons for the previous month that can no longer be watched. So login today and watch all of your September videos so you'll be set for all of October's deals!

Mega Swagbuck Friday!

Today is Friday which means MEGA swagbucks for searches. Instead of earning 5 or 10 swagbucks for a search, you could earn up to 50 or 100. So get searching!

Search & Win

Yesterday I received the following Swagbucks:
  • 12 Swagbucks (morning search)
  • 1 Swagbuck (daily poll)
  • 1 Swagbuck (NOSO special offers -- just click through and answer "no" to each)
  • 6 Swagbucks (afternoon search)
  • 8 Swagbucks (late evening search)

I earned 28 Swagbucks in one day, with very little effort. If you did the same, it would take you only a little over two weeks to earn a $5 Amazon gift card. Pretty sweet! And even less if you were able to find some Swagcodes (see below)!

What is Swagbucks?
It's a search engine, like google. Use it in place of your regular search engine and earn swagbucks every day that can be used towards gift cards and prizes.

How do I earn Swagbucks?
You can get swagbucks for taking the daily poll, surveys, searching, shopping, and more!

How many points do I need?
My favorite prize to redeem is the $5 Amazon gift card...because Amazon has everything! (I used my last gift card to buy Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags, lol.) (Don't forget to join the Amazon Mom's program to get free Amazon Prime shipping for 3 months.) It takes 450 points for a $5 Amazon gift card, which takes about a month or so to build up to. Not too bad for searching I do every day anyway!

What is a swag code?
Swagbucks often releases codes that can be entered on the homepage for extra swag bucks! They help you reach the required number of points for your prize sooner. I post alerts and links to the locations of the swagcodes a few times each week on the Slavetosave Facebook page so you'll never miss 'em!

Giveaway: $10 Amazon GC & Free Contacts for Life!

I have a friend who's had a pretty rough year this last year. He got laid off from his job, and then when he started riding his bike to the University to save money, it got stolen. Now he's working for 1-800-contacts and they're having a contest to see which employee can get the most referrals to sign up for this sweepstakes. I think it would be a nice thing for us all to help him out and throw a little sunshine his way. Everyone needs a break once in a while, right!?

1-800-CONTACTS is giving away free contacts for life when you enter their sweepstakes HERE, and there's a new winner every day! No purchase required, no gimmicks, just free contacts. Pretty sweet.

Even if you don't wear contacts, you can still enter the sweepstakes! Choose the FreshLook Colorblends with a strength of 0.00. (This is just a colored lens that makes your eyes pretty but doesn't affect the way you see.)

Win it!
I'm giving away a $10 Amazon gift card, and all you have to do is enter the 1-800-CONTACTS sweepstakes HERE.

Mandatory Entry:
  • Enter the 1-800-CONTACTS sweepstakes HERE and leave a comment on this post saying you did! (Don't forget to include your email address.)

Additional Entry:
  • Send an email to three friends telling them about the sweepstakes/giveaway, with a link back to this post, and copy me on the email. {slavetosave at gmail dot com} Then leave a comment on this post saying you did.

The contest ends on October 6, 2010 at midnight, MST. Winner will be emailed on 10/7/10, and has 48 hours to respond to email.

Disclaimer: This was an unpaid post, and all opinions given are expressly my own.

Free Nursing Cover @ UdderCovers.com (Just Pay Shipping)

Right now you can get a nursing cover for free at Uddercovers.com ($32 value) by entering promo code ONEFREE at checkout. All you have to pay is shipping ($9.95). Pretty sweet deal for a nursing cover, considering I've never seen one less than $25! They've got six patterns to choose from.

Using that same promo code, you can get one of their nursing cover gift packs ($46 value) for only $5 + shipping, which includes the nursing cover, a milk band, and 4 sets of reusable breast pads.

Free Brilliant PH Tampon Samples & More

I stumbled across a few good samples this morning....

Brilliant PH Tampons -- Supposedly they restore the proper PH to your body (your menstrual fluids have an elevated PH). TMI, sorry! But they sound cool.

Wisk Laundry Detergent -- I love taking detergent samples on vacation with me, in case of emergency. (The bambina got carsick last week during our little vacay, and this came in handy!!)

Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer -- I've been wanting to try this!

Free Love Letterings Vinyl Decal (Just Pay Shipping!)

Right now at LoveLetterings.com you can get a FREE vinyl wall decal ($25 value) when you enter code SASFREE at checkout! Shipping is $11.95, but still a steal of a deal for a vinyl decal!

I have a vinyl decal on the wall next to my baby's crib and it's so cute. Everyone who comes in the nursery just LOVES it! I've been wanting to add some vinyl to my other rooms, so I just ordered the one that says "...because every picture has a story to tell." I thought it would be so cute to put under a family picture in our living room!
