Mega Swagbuck Friday

Today is Friday which means MEGA swagbucks for searches. Instead of earning 5 or 10 swagbucks for a search, you could earn up to 50 or 100. So get searching!

Search & Win

What is Swagbucks?
It's a search engine, like google. Use it in place of your regular search engine and earn swagbucks every day that can be used towards gift cards and prizes.

How do I earn Swagbucks?
You can get swagbucks for taking the daily poll, surveys, searching, shopping, and more!

How many points to I need?
My favorite prize to redeem is the $5 Amazon gift card...because Amazon has everything! (I used my last gift card to buy Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags, lol.) (Don't forget to join the Amazon Mom's program to get free Amazon Prime shipping for 3 months.) It takes 450 points for a $5 Amazon gift card, which takes about a month or so to build up to. Not too bad for searching I do every day anyway!

What is a swag code?
Swagbucks often releases codes that can be entered on the homepage for extra swag bucks! They help you reach the required number of points for your prize sooner. I post alerts and links to the locations of the swagcodes a few times each week on the Slavetosave Facebook page so you'll never miss 'em!

New Printable Coupon Site

You know the coupons for local retailers that are printed on the back of grocery store cash register tape? Well now you can print those from home, with a site called rtui!

Go HERE and enter your zip code to view all offers for your area.

(When I typed in my zip code, I found some decent Quiznos and Panda Express coupons, as well as some useful auto mechanic and salon service coupons!)

{Thanks, Money Saving Mom!}

Easy Money Management With Mint.com

(If you've come to a coupon class before, you've probably already heard me rave about Mint.com. I love it so much, I have to mention it again.)

Mint.com is a free site owned by Quicken, that helps you manage all of your money in one place. Why do I love this more than Quicken? Because I can login and check it from anywhere -- so it's super convenient.

Once you create an account, you can link all of your checking, savings, mortgage, investment, retirement, etc, accounts -- all in once place. This includes car loans, home equity loans, and every other kind of loan you may have.

Then Mint keeps track of your spending and saving all in once place. It can show you your net worth. It can show you graphs of your spending trends over time, or as compared to others in your state or country, etc. You can use their online tools to set a budget, and get email notifications when you're getting close to hitting that budget.

In my opinion, it's one of the coolest sites around. Go try it out.

Today's Daily Groupon - $49 Photography Session + Prints @ Busath!

Okay, now $49 for a photography session may not sound like a great deal to you...unless you've heard of Busath. They take AMAZING photographs. I have a sister-in-law who uses them for all of her newborn portraits and they turn out stunningly beautiful, but I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a photo session normally! But it must be my lucky day!

Today only, you can get a photography session, plus either an 11x14 print or 25 5x7" Christmas Cards from Busath for only $49 (regularly $294!).

Busath also won the Best in State award for 2010 in the visual arts category. Pretty sweet.

If you STILL need some convincing, check out their gallery HERE. Wow. Just wow.

Printable $5/25 Rite Aid Coupon @ Redplum!

Go HERE to print a $5/25 Rite Aid coupon that doesn't expire until 12/31/2010!

Remember you can print two from each computer. (Sure a lot easier than watching the videos, huh?)

Monday Drugstore Deals

I ran to Rite Aid bright and early this morning to snag some good deals. The store was empty but the shelves were full...so it was a good day. My store had TONS of Suave and Trident. Just FYI for my neighborhood buddies.

Transaction #1:
$6.99 Scott
2/$4 Suave
3/$3 Trident
$3.99 Johnson & Johnson
$4 Playtex
$2.99 Nivea Lip
$1.49 Nivea Lip
$2.99 Reach
$2.99 Reach
-$5/25 RAQ
-$1 Scott RAQ
-$1 Scott MFQ
-$1 Suave MFQ x 2
-$1 Trident MFQ
-$0.50 Trident RAQ
-$1 J&J MFQ
-$1 J&J RAQ
-$2 Playtex MFQ
-$1 Nivea Lip MFQ x 2
-BOGO Reach MFQ
-$1 Reach MFQ
-$1 Reach RAQ
-$10 +UPs (from last week)
= $0.55 + tax
(And I got back $16 +UP Rewards.)

My cashier allowed me to use the $0.50 Trident Video Values coupon, but YMMV because the size is different than stated. (Her logic was that I was buying more than the size stated, so it was okay.)

The big excitement in this transaction was the Reach toothbrush. I paid $0.99 for two after coupons, but got back two $4 +UP Rewards ($2 x 2)! Yee-haw. Plus I qualified $5.98 towards the Oral Care SCR.

Transaction #2 & 3:
$15.99 Pampers Big Box
$15.99 Pampers Big Box
-$5/25 RAQ
-$1 MFQ x 2
= $24.98 + tax

I wanted to be a guinea pig and test the +UP Reward limits on the Pampers today. My first transaction spit out $20 in +UP Rewards (two $5 for Pampers and one $10 P&G). However, my second transaction only spit out two $5 +UP's for Pampers (no $10 P&G). Bummer.

But overall I still came out ahead today, since my first transaction was such a money-maker. And look at all those beautiful diapers to add to my stockpile! Wowy. :)

Coupon For Free Cottonelle Fresh Flushable Wipes!

You can get one for you and one for a friend. Their site is getting hammered right now, so be patient. These would be a great filler to help us get free stuff at Rite Aid!
