Fiber Gummies & More {Review & Giveaway!}

Robin Leedy Associates is a public relations company that specializes in helping brands get their word out. They have some fabulous, all-natural & homeopathic products to tell you about today! I got the chance to review these products and give them a test run, and I really enjoyed all of them. Plus we've got some exclusive coupons just for Slavetosave readers, and a three-part giveaway!

Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies
Did you know the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) significantly increased the recommended daily fiber intake standards in 2009? Getting a four year old to eat 25 grams of fiber a day can be a challenge. That's where Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies come in!

Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies are a daily fiber supplement to help kids ages 2-11 maintain better digestive health. The gummies are penguin-shaped, sugar-free, calorie-free, gluten-free and made with natural fruit flavors. (Confession: I don't fall in that age range, but I tasted them anyway and they are yum-o!) They are a great way to supplement your child's daily diet, with a recommended serving of three gummies per day. Plus, Fiber Gummies are dentist approved! They retail for $7.99 per bottle at Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Smiths and Kmart as well as other supermarkets and online retailers.

Also check out the Fiber Gummies website that offers helpful tips on how to incorporate a high-fiber diet into a busy family's lifestyle with tips for meal planning and easy-to-make recipes.

LIP CLEAR Lysine+
LIP CLEAR Lysine+ is an all natural cold sore treatment. My favorite feature is that it's clinically proven to cut cold sore healing time in half. Who wouldn't love for their cold sore to go away twice as fast? Forty percent of users felt their cold sore was completely gone by the third day! Plus it goes on clear, soothes rather than burns, and has 14 healing nutrients. It retails for around $6.99 per tube at drugstores, supermarkets and health food stores, as well as online.

OraMoist Dry Mouth Disc
OraMoist time-released patches and discs are a revolutionary, time-released formula that adheres to the roof of your mouth. Over a period of up to four hours, the patch dissolves in your mouth to increase moisture and freshen breath. Additionally, the all-natural fruit-flavored patches are sugar-free and alcohol free. They retail for $9.99 for a box of 16 patches at drugstores, supermarkets and health food stores, as well as online.

HERE just for Slavetosave readers, valid at Walgreens and Rite Aid (my favorite store!).

Canker Cover
Canker Cover is a unique patch that provides healing relief for painful canker sores. The clear gel patch provides immediate pain relief as well as complete protection from irritating food and drink. Plus it freshens your breath as it heals and lasts for 8-12 hours. Additionally, Canker Cover is the only over-the-counter canker sore treatment that is clinically proven to significantly speed treatment, and most users found their cold sore was gone within 24 hours! It retails for around $9.99 for a box of six patches at drugstores, supermarkets and health food stores, as well as online.

CharcoCaps
CharcoCaps is a natural, easy-to-swallow, over-the-counter charcoal capsule that stimulates and supports the body's own defenses against intestinal gas. CharcoCaps helps to naturally relieve gas discomfort, pressure and bloating, which helps absorb the gas
and the embarassing odor. These would be great when traveling on airplanes or long trips! CharcoCaps retail for $7 for a pack of 36 pills at Rite Aid, Walgreens, and other online retailers.

Get health tips, videos and a downloadable food diary at www.charcocaps.com.

CharcoCaps offers a monthly $100 pre-pad gasoline card giveaway! (Isn't that hilarious? Get it --
gas card, ha ha!) Simply take the gas etiquette quiz HERE to enter to win!

Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant
Certain Dri is the number one over-the-counter antiperspirant for excessive perspiration, recommended by doctors. The new Certain Dri Solid is now specially-formulated for those with sensitive skin (like my hubby!). Certain Dri has the strongest aluminum sesquichlorohydrate (the ingredient that makes some products "clinical-strength") concentration of any antiperspirant on the market! It provides 72 hours of protection with each application, which is awesome! It retails for $5.50 - $6.00, which is almost 40% less than other clinical strength products!

Check out Certain Dri on Good Morning America HERE!

Jovan Satisfaction
New Jovan Satisfaction is the first new fragrance from Jovan in over a decade! Jovan Satisfaction for Women combines notes of sweet mango, lotus flower and warm vanilla -- seriously so yummy smelling. Jovan Satisfaction for Men is a bold and masculine scent, with notes of grapefruit, cardamom, cedarwood and amber. Of all of these products -- this one is definitely my favorite! It's exactly the kind of scent you'd love your hubby to wear, trust me. Each of these Jovan scents retail for $12 for 0.5 oz or $18 for a 1.0 oz Eau de Toilette spray at drugstores and mass retailers. So affordable, I love it!

Get a free sample of Jovan Satisfaction HERE!

Win It!
One lucky winner will win a bottle of Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies, another lucky winner will win a Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant, and another lucky winner will win a bottle of both Jovan Satisfaction for Men and Jovan Satisfaction for Women! That's THREE winners!

Rite Aid Shopping Trip

Soooo....the Bambina is teething. We think. So I had to run to Rite Aid and get some Orajel (or else I was going to scratch my eyes out at 2 and 4 and 6 am). I found a $1 coupon for it in the inserts, and added a few other things to get to $20 so I could use the $5/20 RAQ.

$1.39 Gerber Baby Food x 4
$5.49 Nature's Bounty
$0.00 Nature's Bounty
$7.99 Baby Orajel
$1.29 Extra
-$5/20 RAQ
-$0.75/4 Gerber MFQ
-$1.39 B2G1 Gerber RAQ
-$2 Nature's Bounty MFQ
-$1 Nature's Bounty RAQ
-$1 Vitamin RAQ
-$1 Orajel MFQ
-$1.49 Wellness+ 10% discount
=
$5.70 + tax

All in all, I paid less for the whole transaction than it would have cost me for 1 tube of Orajel, even with the $1 MFQ. Pretty sweet deal! Plus I've got $5.00 towards the Gerber SCR #14. I'm lovin' this Wellness+ Card!

Go HERE to see more deals this week at Rite Aid.

P.S. She slept like a dream last night. Thank you, Orajel!

Winco Foods Beef Recall

I just got word that Winco Foods has recalled all trays of ground beef purchased at their stores between March 28th and April 9th, 2010. All trays of beef must be destroyed or returned for a full refund (no receipt necessary).

Click HERE for details on the recall.

I'm so upset about this! I bought a huge tray of the ground beef and made it into five meals worth of mozzarella-stuffed meatballs using my Fix, Freeze, Feast: Prepare in Bulk and Enjoy by the Serving - More than 125 Recipes cookbook. Now I have to throw it all away, and it took so much time and effort to make! Not to mention all the other ingredients that are now lost. Ugh. I'll just thank my lucky stars we haven't eaten any of it.

New National Catalina Offers

Ann over at Coupons, Deals & More has a new directory of national Catalina promos running now through June. That means these deals are valid at any store with a Catalina machine (in our case, Smith's and Kmart!).

New promos include Totinos, California Pizza Kitchen, Kraft, Dreyers, and more. Check out the full list HERE and keep them in mind as you plan your grocery trips in the next few weeks!

Monday Drugstore Deals

I hit up Rite Aid this morning to get some free diapers and try out my new Wellness+ Card! While I was there I discovered $2 peelies on the Hawaiian Tropic suncare (that is BOGO this week), so if you're in the market for those keep your eyes out! I also realized the Huggies are on sale for $8.99 this week, which threw me off a little (even though it was listed in the ad, duh!) so I had to improvise with the baby food but it actually turned out great.

Another exciting thing I discovered is that when my Wellness+ Card was sent to me in the mail, it came with a letter stating that they automatically started my card at the 10% off level (instead of having to work my way up to it)! So anything I buy with it at regular price now gets a 10% discount. Sweet! Just plan your scenarios as normal and hand the Wellness+ card LAST (after all coupons are scanned) to maximize your discount.

I also discovered today that when you scan your Wellness+ Card at checkout, some great Rite Aid coupons print at the bottom of your receipt! I got a $1 off $1.99+ dental care as well as a $1 off $1.99+ seasonal RAQ at the bottom of my receipts today. Sweet! Clip 'em and keep 'em for next week!

$8.99 Huggies Jumbo Pack
$3.49 U by Kotex
$4.69 Pure & Natural
$1.49 Gerber Organic Babyfood
$1.49 Gerber Organic Babyfood
$1.49 Gerber Organic Babyfood
-$5/20 RAQ
-$3 Huggies MFQ
-$2 Huggies RAQ
-$1 Kotex MFQ
-$1 Kotex RAQ
-$3 Pure & Natural RAQ
-$2 Pure & Natural MFQ
-$1.00/3 Gerber Organic MFQ
-$1.49 B2G1 RAQ
-$0.92 10% off Wellness+ Discount
= $1.23 + tax
(And get back $3.49 SCR!)

The Wellness+ 10% savings turned out awesome! I got a discount on the babyfood and the Pure & Natural hand soap. Plus I'm getting back a $3.49 SCR for the Kotex, so all this was free! And to top it off, I now have $4.47 towards the Gerber SCR for the month. I think I'll swing by a few more times this week and do some scenarios with vitamins, more Pure & Natural, and more babyfood to max that SCR out.

Good week this week at Rite Aid!
