I found this article about the average American family's finances by Visual Economics to be shocking.
The average American family:
-Has no retirement fund
-Has no stocks, bonds or mutual funds
-Has a credit card balance
-Has less than $4000 in the bank
It made we want to renew my efforts to live frugally and within my means. What does it make you want to do?
