For those of you who are a fan of Bountiful Baskets -- be aware that the registration time to order your basket each week has changed! Ordering now begins at noon on Mondays, for all states. Baskets in most areas seem to go quick, so mark this on your calendars.
Bountiful Baskets also released their holiday schedule. The following weeks WILL NOT have food co-op offerings:
- November 27th (after Thanksgiving)
- December 25th (Christmas)
- January 1st (New Year's Day)
All other weeks during the holiday season will continue as usual.
For those of you who haven't tried Bountiful Baskets yet, it's a wonderful way to purchase fresh, local produce at a fraction of retail cost. You pay $15 for two round laundry baskets full of fresh produce (50% veggies, 50% fruit) and simply pick them up from your local site at the specified time on Saturday morning. Simple as that!
