Crockpot Freezer Meal Recipes

I stumbled across something very cool and right up my alley on Pinterest the other day -- a woman's blog who makes crockpot freezer meals. I love that idea! You just chop all the veggies and meat, toss them in a freezer bag with all the necessary spices, and throw it in the freezer. When you're ready to use, simply take it out, let it thaw a bit and throw it in the crockpot.

I'm wanting to keep my December as simple as possible (famous last words, right?) because it always seems to get filled up too quickly with parties & gift-making. I want to have time to stop and do meaningful family activities, so I thought these simple meals would be a good way to cut down on cooking time. And if my family likes them, I'm going to make some more to stock my freezer with before this baby comes in January!

So on Saturday I assembled 3 meals in a little over an hour (using the chicken sale this week at Reams). I made two Healthy Mama Barbecue Chicken and one Cranberry Chicken. (Don't forget the cranberry sauce is on sale at Rite Aid this week.)

Here are the links to her recipes, if you'd like to check them out for yourselves. (And none of them have ANY cream-of-whatever soups in them, they all sound like healthy, yummy crockpot meals!)
