Albertson's Double Coupons

I hit up Albertsons last night on the last day of the sale to use my double coupons. Can I just tell you how much I love my local Albies? They always have what I want in stock, even on the last day of the sale! I admit it's risky to wait until Monday or Tuesday, but I just love using those doublers from the Sunday paper!

The only sale item they were out of was the Wishbone Salad Spritzers. They ended up being free after coupon/promotion this week, so I wasn't suprised they were out, and I was really there for the cereal and pasta sauce. So all was well.

Hubby isn't very brand friendly - he refuses to use anything but his favorite variety of Old Spice deodorant. And since he was down to his very last one in the cupboard, this deal couldn't have come at a better time!

If you don't have the P&G year of savings booklet but want to get in on the deal, use three of the $1 MFQ's (P&G 6/7) to get 3/$4. Still a great deal on Old Spice!

Albertson's and Avenu E-coupons

It looks like Albertson's has jumped on the bandwagon with new e-coupons available to load onto your Preferred Savings Card! Their e-coupon system is called Avenu. The cool thing about their system is that some of their e-coupons have a limit of 2 or 3 (or 6!) redemptions of each coupon. That's way better than shortcuts or cellfire, which are all limit 1!

Basically you buy the proper item and your savings will be deducted at checkout when you scan your Preferred Savings Card. It's super easy.

Right now there are Avenu e-coupons for Pringles, Starkist Tuna, Febreze, Dannon, Chinette, Arrowhead, Swiffer, Tylenol, as well as some Albertson's brand items (like eggs!).
