On Monday I hit up Rite Aid on my way home from work. I decided to pick up one more of those Tiny Diner placemats. I remember spending at least $12 on one from my sister-in-law's baby registry a year ago. I figure at $2.50 a piece, I should buy a few and use 'em for baby gift toppers. Or at least have a few different gender colors on hand for when I have my ultrasound (in 18 days!).

Men's Clothing Rebate at Sears

Sears is running a Father's Day Apparel Rebate promotion. Now until June 21, 2009, buy $50 worth of men's pants or jeans (excluding Land's End), and send the completed rebate certificate and a copy of the sales receipt to the address listed.

In return, you'll receive $50 in Sears Rewards Cash to be used towards a future purchase of Men's apparel between June 30 and October 30, 2009.

So it's basically like spend $50 now, get another $50 to spend later. Not a bad deal if your husband/father needs pants! Dockers always seem to be on sale at Sears and my hubby loves those for work.

Be sure to check the expiration dates on the bottles of sunscreen you're buying. If you ever find anything expired on the shelf, you should bring it to the store's attention so it can be removed. I found a few expired when I went, but also PLENTY that had expiration dates in 2011.

On Saturday morning I got up early to run some errands while hubby was busy. I hit up 4 stores and got a lot done! It was nice to finally feel good enough in the morning to get things done.

Keep your eye out for lots of baby clearance at your Rite Aid. Many bottle/feeding/toy accessories were marked 50% off. This placemat was marked 50% off but rang up at 75% off and I didn't notice until I got home! That's why my total was low and I had to throw in a pack of gum at the register.

The self-checkout supervisor came up to me at checkout and told me about the B4G1 Propel deal, and she had all the $0.55 MFQ's for me. So I ended up getting 5 Propel's for $1.25. Great deal! Also, for being a guinea pig, she doubled my coupons at $3 instead of $2.55, which was nice of her. I only got back one $1 catalina, even though I should have gotten two, but oh well!

I was planning on using my $3 RR from Walgreens at Albies, but the checkout supervisor told me they no longer accept competitor's catalinas. :( Sad day.
