Victoria's Secret Tote

I ran to Victoria's Secret yesterday and got my free tote! I was pleasantly surprised when I went -- they let you pick any tote in the store (with a $19.95 or less price tag) and then you take it to the register with your coupon and get it for free! They had lots of cute ones, and plenty in stock.

Huggies Deal at Walgreens 3/8 - 3/14

Yesterday at lunch I ran to Walgreens and bought this:

2 Sambucol @ $12.99
3 Activity books @ $0.99
-$4 Sambucol MFQ x 2
-$10 Easy-saver coupon x 2
= $0.95 + tax

Why did I buy coloring books, you ask? For the Huggies deal at Walgreens next week, of course!

The Huggies deal at Walgreens next week states, buy $25 worth of Huggies products and get $10 in register rewards. Using the $5 Huggies coupon makes this deal awesome! There is also a Walgreens $1 Huggies coupon located in the Walgreens 99-cent activity books. (And like other Walgreens coupons, scanning this coupon will take $1 off every pack purchased in your transaction, not just one.)

Here are the two best ways to work this next week:

Huggies Jumbo $10
Huggies Jumbo $10
Huggies Big Wipes $6
-$5 Huggies MFQ x 3
-$1 Walgreens Huggies Q (will take off $2)
= $9 + tax
(Get back $10 RR and $1.50 Caregiver's Rebate)

Huggies Jumbo $10
Huggies Jumbo $10
Huggies Jumbo $10
-$5 Huggies MFQ x 3
-$1 Walgreens Huggies Q (will take off $3)
= $12 + tax
(Get back $10 RR and $2.25 Caregiver's Rebate)

Target Deals

Last night I ran to SuperTarget to price check a few things for my sister-in-law. While I was there, I browsed past the meat and soup (among other things) and noticed some good deals. I didn't even have my coupons with me (shocking, I know)! So what did I do? I printed the Target coupons directly from the Target website on the computer kiosk right inside the front doors. Did you know you can do that? Free paper, free ink, free coupons!

$4.93 Top Round Roast
$2.54 London Broil Roast
$2.71 London Broil Roast
$0.54 Market Pantry Soup x 6
-$2 Sutton & Dodge TQ x 3
-$0.50/2 Market Pantry Soup TQ x 3
=
$5.92 + tax

Less than six bucks for some soup and a bunch of meat! I can't wait to come up with some Menu Plan recipes for next week using these roasts and the Ritz from Walgreens!

Ritz Crackers at Walgreens

I ran to Walgreens on my way to work yesterday and picked up this:

The Ritz crackers are on sale BOGO this week for $1.99.

2 Ritz $1.99
2 Ritz $1.99
2 Ritz $1.99
1 Tostitos Salsa $2.99
-$2/2 MFQ Ritz (RP 1/25)
-$2/2 MFQ Ritz (RP 1/25)
-$2/2 MFQ Ritz (RP 1/25)
=
$2.99 + tax (the price of the salsa)

The salsa was purchased with no coupons -- I just needed some. My husband goes through the stuff like you wouldn't believe! The cashier adjusted each Ritz coupon to $1.99 to match the sale price, so no overage. But hey, it's still free Ritz!

I don't know what you're planning on doing with all of your Ritz crackers, but I'm planning on making
Ritzy Chicken next week. It's a yummy recipe -- I'll post it for you soon!

Chili's Guiltless Grill Review and Giveaway

As part of my New Year's resolution, I've been trying to exercise more and eat healthier. Boring, right? Well, Chili's just made "dieting" a little easier on us. They've just expanded the Guiltless Grill portion of their menu. Each item on this menu is under 750 calories and 25 grams of fat!

New menu items include:
Guiltless Carne Asada Steak
Guiltless Buffalo or Grilled Chicken Sandwich
Guiltless Cedar Plank Tilapia
Guiltless Honey-Mustard Glazed or Grilled Salmon
Guiltless Chicken Platter
Guiltless Black Bean Burger

As a member of Bzzagent, I received a few coupons for a free Guiltless Grill entree at Chili's, so Hubby and I went there last weekend to give it a try! He ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and I ordered the Carne Asada Steak topped with yummy pico de gallo. I have to say, I was very impressed! Each entree comes with a serving of steamed veggies with parmesan on top, and nothing about the food had the "diet" vibe. I would totally order from the Guiltless Grill again!

Now you can try the Guiltless Grill, too! I'm giving away 2 coupons, each for a free Guiltless Grill entree item at Chili's! The coupons expire 5/31/09 so you'll have plenty of time to use them!

Receive one drawing entry for doing any of the following:
1. Go to chilis.com and look at the new guiltless menu options. Leave me a comment (including your email address) telling me which item you would like to try!

2. Become a follower of Slavetosave (in the left hand sidebar) or add Slavetosave.blogspot.com to your google reader! Then leave me a comment (including your email address) telling me you're a follower.

3. Post a link to this giveaway on your blog! Then leave me a comment (including your email address) with a link to the post.

The giveaway will end Sunday, March 8th at midnight and the winner will be posted and contacted via email on Monday, March 9th!

Here are my spending totals for February. This includes all groceries and health/beauty items. And this month I was even stocking up on a few things like diapers and bottles. It was a good month!

Total spent: $52.30
Total saved: $990.xx

I was down around $40-ish on Friday, but I had some last minute grocery items I picked up on Saturday to make THIS for dinner on Sunday. So worth it!
