The Living Planet Aquarium is located on 725 East 10600 South in Sandy, Utah. It was founded by marine biologist Brent Andersen in 1997 and continues to grow through the addition and enhancements of new exhibits and programs.


At The Living Planet Aquarium you can...

• Travel from the river to the sea, as you experience a freshwater stream stocked with Utah´s fish species.
• Run your hands through a touch pool and discover the playful touch of friendly stingrays.

The Living Planet Aquarium currently features sharks, rays, seahorses, jellyfish as well as octopus, eels, starfish, amphibians, trout and other freshwater species, providing a unique opportunity for the many landlocked Utahns, particularly children, who have not previously had the chance to interact with such creatures!
